About the project
The 2nd edition of ebankIT’s flagship event brought together industry leaders and innovators to shape the future of digital banking. Held in Porto, the Summit served as a platform for thought leadership and offered a space for clients, partners, and the ebankIT team to connect and align around the product roadmap.
The main challenge was to create a brand identity that captured ebankIT’s values of digital innovation and transformation. The visual language needed to feel modern and adaptable, setting a strong foundation for future editions while reinforcing the company’s role at the forefront of fintech.

Designing the Visual System
For the logo, it was important to retain the ebankIT logomark in its original form. To achieve visual balance, we played with the brand typography and adjusted the scale of the word “Summit” to reflect each element’s relative importance. Since the logo was meant to be reused in future editions, the year had to be present but treated as interchangeable. A rectangular shape was created to contain this evolving information.
From this form emerged the broader visual concept: the pixel, the smallest unit of a display and the building block of digital imagery. This idea guided the development of a flexible identity system, where repeated pixel elements could scale and adapt across various formats, echoing the theme of digital transformation.
The color palette was carefully selected from the existing ebankIT brand, with a strong focus on royal purple as the main tone. Sky blue accents added vibrancy, while the neon green from the ebankIT icon brought a new and bold, but still recognizable energy to the visuals.

Bringing the Event to Life Online
The primary communication channels for the event were digital — namely social media, email marketing campaigns, and the website. In close collaboration with the social media manager, a range of visual assets were designed, including event covers and multiple posts to promote speakers, session themes, key takeaways, and reasons to attend.
To balance the rigidity of the pixel-based graphic system, rounded shapes were introduced into the compositions, softening the overall tone and adding visual contrast. This helped create a more dynamic and approachable visual presence across all touchpoints.
Staging the Experience
In close collaboration with the event management team, every detail — from lighting and signage to decor and screen animations — was designed to transform the blank venue into a fully branded ebankIT experience.
To extend the experience beyond the event itself, a custom gift bag was also created, allowing attendees to take a tangible memory of the summit home with them.
The Value
The event branding played a key role in reinforcing the recent evolution of the ebankIT brand and tagline. It helped build trust and recognition among clients and partners, while also fostering a stronger sense of unity within the internal team. Additionally, the flexible branding system empowered the marketing team to approach future editions more efficiently and without compromising creativity or innovation.
